Cogan’s standard 2-rail handrail is 42” high and ideal for situations where light-duty protection is required. Handrail posts are made of 2 1/2”x2 1/2”x14GA steel sealed in a powder-coated grey paint finish or optional powder-coated yellow paint finish. Handrails are made of 1 1/2”x1 1/2”x16GA galvanized steel securely fastened to the handrail posts with zinc-plated clips. This special design allows for the rails to be cut to size and attached without welding, reducing installation time and cost. Optional kickplate is also available.

Cogan wire mesh handrail is our upgraded system designed to meet the stringent safety requirements of mezzanines intended for public use. Panels are made of 2”x2” welded wire mesh and are shop welded to 1 1/2”x1 1/2” structurai steel frames. Handrail posts are made of 2 1/2”x2 1/2” tubes sealed in a powder-coated grey paint finish. Rails are made of 1 1/2”x1 1/2” galvanized tubes and simply fasten to the posts using specially designed zinc-plated clips. This allows for the rails to be cut to size and attached without welding, reducing installation time and cost. Handrails and wire mesh are available in an optional powder-coated safety yellow paint finish. Kickplate is also available.
